My Setup

So, as you may already know, I use FL studio 20 as my DAW (Digital Audio Workstation), because it's relatively easy to learn, along with the best piano roll (in my opinion), which allowed me to easily slide notes to create cool effects, especially with bass.

This is the channel rack, which I love, as it allows you to really easily create simple drum loops

Some of the plugins I use are:

Fruity plugins (native plugins to FL studio)

Nebula by Soundspot, which is an effects plugin that can really make your samples sound much more interesting

TimeShaper by cableguys, which creates a glitching effect

Izotope Vinyl, which adds a lofi vibe to your samples and sounds

FLEX, which is another native FL studio plugin, but it is incredibly underrated and definitely worth having a look at because it is a synth with tons of good sounds which you can use.

Pancake2 by cableguys, which is a free and more simple version of PanShaper.

Ample Bass which is basically a very realistic sounding plugin of a bass guitar

Ample Guitar as you can guess, it is a very realistic sounding guitar.

There are plenty more that I use, but the list above is simply the list of plugins I would recommend.

Moving away from DAWs, I have an Alesis VI61 which is my piano that I have described in detail in my previous blog.

I have a dual monitor setup to allow me to fit all the pages that FL studio has on to my screen without having to open and close them constantly, which definitely helps improve my workflow. (I highly recommend getting a second screen if you plan on using FL studio professionally, it really lets you speed things up.)

I don't use any loudspeakers, it's just me and my headphones. My Bose QC35 bluetooth headphones, which are very good, but there are cheaper pairs of wired headphones which have better sound quality, so I'd suggest getting a different pair of headphones to me.

Finally, I'm using a windows PC, this doesn't matter too much, unless you plan on making music with logic pro X or garage band, which are mac exclusives.

Well, this concludes the setup description, hopefully it can help someone reading this know what to get for producing music.
